Day 8-The Safari Continues

Well, true to form we had a meat for dinner that we had seen yesterday--Kudu.

Before our afternoon game drive, there were five or six Vervet Monkeys playing on my deck.  Here's a shot of one who jumped up into a tree outside my room.

We are seeing elephants nearly every time we go on a game drive now. We didn't see them at first and I was getting worried we wouldn't see them.

And some how, our guide and tracker found a herd of Cape Buffalo.  We had been looking for them for days.

The birds continue to amaze.  Here is a lilac-breasted roller.

This is a selfie with me and Rifos our tracker and Phanuel our guide, stopping in the bush for an afternoon snack.

We started our morning drive with a herd of Impala.

We then ran across our first of two pair of mother rhinos and babies.

Here you can see the baby nursing.

Our tracker and guide were looking for a leopard this morning.  We came across a couple of trees of screaming monkeys near where they had heard a leopard was hanging out.  The tracker and guide got out of land rover and found leopard tracks, but we didn't see the leopard.

This is one of a group of elephants, which was very near some Nyala.

We've also been seeing lots of Marabou Storks.  They are really huge.

Here's a view of the main lodge at Kambaku.  It's really a lovely place to stay.
